Training will take 2-6 weeks total depending on aptitude. After which will begin your 90 day probation period where you will be provided a company vehicle, fuel card, laptop and work phone. You will be expected to perfom your evaluations and repairs on your own with options for assistance by tech support or your fellow appliance technicians. The goal is to make you an expert repair technicain able to operation with zero micromanagement. Mutal trust and personal responsibility are necessary to thrive in this field.
Duties
Diagnose and repair various household appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, and more using detailed schematics and technical manuals.
Troubleshoot equipment issues by utilizing hand tools, power tools, and electrical experience to identify root causes.
Perform routine maintenance to prevent future breakdowns and extend appliance lifespan.
Operate company vehicles responsibly for field service visits while adhering to safety protocols.
Use mechanical knowledge and assembly skills to replace parts or upgrade components as needed.
Communicate clearly with customers about repair processes, timelines, and maintenance tips to ensure high satisfaction levels.
Skills
Strong understanding of schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and ladder logic for troubleshooting complex systems.
Proficiency with equipment troubleshooting techniques across various appliance brands and models.
Knowledge of refrigeration systems, plumbing connections, electrical work, and mechanical components.
Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment necessary for appliance repair and installation.
Experience with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) practices to optimize equipment performance.
Ability to interpret technical manuals and perform field service tasks efficiently in diverse environments.
Excellent customer service skills to provide professional support and build trust with clients.

Commission pay - 45% of all labor perfomed per job after completion
